I would like to provide some relevant links, for the information of any prospective tourists contemplating a trip to Australia anytime soon.

The Australian tourism industry has recently launched a fancy marketing campaign, incorporating television advertisements, in an effort to attract additional visitors to Australia.

Before you make a decision to spend your hard earned money on a holiday in Australia, you should take a close look at these;

1) Ivan Milat - convicted of Murdering seven people, five of which were international travelers. He is suspected of murdering another thirty people. He is currently in prison in Australia. Further information;

3) Another crazed gunman story, Julian Knight who murdered six people in Melbourne, Victoria. This incident is known as the Hoddle Street Massacre;

4) Road Crash Deaths - If you plan to drive a motor vehicle when you visit Australia, please consider the following; Approximately one thousand five hundred people are killed in motor vehicle accidents every year in Australia, a country with a relatively small population of twenty one million. 5) Racism and hatred - December 2005, thousands of people turned out at Cronulla beach in Sydney to embark on an ethnic cleansing frenzy. 6) Racism and hatred continued - Another disgusting display of racism and exclusion in Australia. A municipal council near Sydney rejects an application by Muslim people to build a school. Once again, crazy local people whipped themselves up into a frenzy of bigotry and racism;

In summary, please don't be fooled by any television commercials you may see, which attempt to glorify Australia and promote it as a safe and worthy tourist destination.
